Cloud Platform Engineering Manager (RFID)

What you will do

• Lead the AdvanCloud platform team and shape the technical direction of its mission-critical SaaS product.
• Define platform architecture and make decisions supporting scalability, maintainability, security, and long-term evolution.
• Translate product and business ideas into technical solutions, priorities, and actionable development plans.
• Coordinate daily execution, remove technical and organizational blockers, and support Agile delivery.
• Oversee AWS infrastructure, deployment processes, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
• Guide AI-related initiatives, security and compliance work, third-party integrations, and stakeholder reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software management, preferably including cloud platform leadership.
• Proven experience in people leadership and software architecture in cloud environments.
• Experience with AWS, modern backend development, DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
• Ability to translate product and business needs into technical solutions and manage stakeholder priorities.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum environments and the ability to balance technical depth with team leadership.
• Fluent English required; EU residency or an EU work permit required.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in AI-based features or chatbot solutions.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with RFID, IoT, or retail technology.
• Catalan or Spanish language skills.
