What you will do

• Define and execute the multi-year technology strategy and product roadmap in close collaboration with the CEO.
• Drive platform modernization, focusing on infrastructure, APIs, performance, and security posture.
• Identify and implement AI use cases, including intelligent workflow automation and predictive workforce analytics for public sector clients.
• Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team, investing in reskilling for AI-native development practices.
• Transform the client support model using AI, automation, and self-service tooling to reduce ticket volume and increase efficiency.
• Own security, compliance, and data privacy practices aligned with GDPR and Spanish public sector requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of technology leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent senior role in a software product company.
• Proven experience shipping AI-embedded product capabilities with measurable customer outcomes.
• Experience owning SaaS security and compliance (specifically GDPR) for the Spanish public sector.
• Experience designing data architectures that serve analytics, BI, and AI as a unified asset.
• Business-level fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Track record of leading an engineering organization through a major platform transition or cloud migration.
