Director, Oracle ERP

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid or on-site eligible. Hybrid work allows remote work up to two days per week, while on-site work requires five days per week on-site with ad hoc flexibility.

Salary: $198,000–$297,000 base salary per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Lead the accounting technology strategy, roadmap, and governance for Oracle E-Business Suite and related finance systems.
• Oversee the design, configuration, maintenance, optimization, upgrades, integrations, and support models for Oracle EBS Financials.
• Drive automation and process improvements across financial close, reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Maintain compliant financial systems and internal controls in partnership with Controllership, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Lead requirements gathering, solution design reviews, testing, user acceptance testing, and change adoption.
• Manage cross-functional initiatives, vendors, implementation partners, and a team supporting accounting systems and finance technology operations.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials in a complex accounting environment.
• Strong understanding of Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, financial close, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX compliance, audit support, financial systems governance, integrations, data flows, and reconciliation processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial systems leadership, including experience in biotechnology or another regulated industry.
• Experience leading teams, managing vendors or implementation partners, and partnering with senior finance and technology stakeholders.
