Senior Director, SAP Center of Excellence (SAP S/4HANA)

Salary: $250,000–$285,000 per year

What you will do

• Establish and mature the SAP Center of Excellence operating model, strategy, roadmap, service catalog, and performance objectives.
• Advise senior leadership on SAP investments, risks, opportunities, governance, and long-term platform strategy.
• Lead SAP architecture, clean-core adoption, fit-to-standard processes, integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and SAP Integration Suite.
• Own the SAP run-and-improve model, including ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, release, service, transport, and environment management.
• Build and lead a high-performing organization of functional, technical, integration, testing, and operations specialists.
• Manage SAP, systems integrator, managed service, and technology vendor relationships while overseeing performance, contracts, security, compliance, and resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive SAP leadership experience, including SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience establishing or leading an SAP Center of Excellence or Business Delivery Center in a global organization.
• Deep knowledge of SAP ERP, governance, enterprise architecture, integration strategy, and operational excellence.
• Experience leading large-scale ERP transformations, post-implementation optimization, global teams, external partners, and complex vendor ecosystems.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, ITIL, service management, change management, and release governance skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RISE with SAP, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Business Technology Platform, or SuccessFactors.
• Experience in medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and SAP certifications.
• Experience using AI, automation, and analytics to improve ERP operations and business outcomes.
