What you will do

• Drive factory production of transistors and discrete electronic devices according to strict specifications.
• Collaborate with Module, Integration, and Yield engineers to implement process modifications for improved quality and cost.
• Perform extensive root-cause analysis of discrepant device performance and control end-of-line quality metrics.
• Continuously improve yield and reliability through feedback loops and variability reduction.
• Develop technical solutions utilizing solid-state physics, statistics, and formal problem-solving methodologies.
• Lead complex technical projects and communicate reasoning and timelines to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona
• Master's in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related STEM field with 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience, or a Ph.D.
• Experience in semiconductor process integration, yield engineering, or technology development.
• Strong understanding of FEOL and/or BEOL manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis methods including DOE, SPC, and Cp/Cpk analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects across multiple engineering disciplines.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of device physics and familiarity with failure analysis techniques.
• Basic coding or scripting ability in Python, JSL, or SAS.
• Experience with statistical software packages such as JMP or Minitab.
• Familiarity with machine learning tools applied to process and device analysis.
