Location: Quincy, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with office duties and regular time in indoor and outdoor production environments.

What you will do

• Lead site-wide safety initiatives and promote a safety-first culture across production teams.
• Manage safety programs, KPI tracking, training records, and document control in digital safety systems.
• Conduct jobsite audits, identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend controls.
• Lead or support incident investigations, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Use leading indicators to support operational excellence and prevent workplace injuries.
• Support worker injury cases and structured return-to-work processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in a dedicated health and safety role or a high-complexity industrial environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn safety management and reporting software.
• Ability to recognize workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills for training employees and presenting to management.
