What you will do

• Own the UX roadmap for Okta Device Access (ODA) and Okta Verify (OV) products.
• Execute generative and evaluative research to understand the needs of administrators, developers, and end users.
• Collaborate with design, product, and engineering partners to influence product and design decisions.
• Design mechanisms to build deep customer empathy and a comprehensive understanding of identified audiences.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior researchers to raise the team's quality bar.
• Present research findings to diverse audiences across the organization to drive impact.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto, Canada
• 4+ years of product development research experience (or Masters/PhD with 2+ years).
• Proficiency in various research methods, including usability studies, contextual inquiry, and surveys.
• Experience conducting research for developers, administrators, or other technical audiences.
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and organize initiatives independently under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in anthropology, sociology, psychology, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
