What you will do

• Own the user research stream from spotting opportunities and planning to execution and insight embedding.
• Set up and manage the research process throughout discovery and delivery, integrating it into agile workflows.
• Conduct diverse research types, including exploratory, assessment, evaluative, quantitative, and qualitative.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to translate insights into strategy, roadmaps, and solutions.
• Contribute to the wider user research practice through guidelines, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
• Consult presale teams on appropriate user research approaches for potential new projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a standalone user research role.
• Expertise in core user research methods and experience validating early product concepts.
• Proven skill in customer segmentation across various markets and participant recruitment.
• Strong facilitation skills for leading workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions.
• Proficiency with research tools such as Maze, Dovetail, or similar synthesis and testing platforms.
