Salary: $203,901 – $254,876 USD

What you will do

• Advise Product and Engineering stakeholders on legal issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Review new features and initiatives, providing business-oriented guidance that balances risk with execution speed.
• Counsel teams on intellectual property, software licensing, privacy, AI, and security considerations.
• Develop scalable legal guidance, policies, and training materials for cross-functional teams.
• Monitor emerging legal and regulatory developments to provide actionable guidance.
• Collaborate with commercial, privacy, and compliance legal colleagues to drive alignment.

Requirements

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies.
• Strong legal judgment and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts to technical and executive audiences.
• Experience balancing competing priorities and business objectives to drive results.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the Austin office.
