TL;DR
VP FP&A (SaaS): Driving scalable growth by connecting financial forecasting with deep data insights and operational efficiency with an accent on long-range planning, revenue drivers, and strategic investment. Focus on shaping the financial architecture of a high-growth SaaS company and translating complex data into actionable executive strategy.
Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Mountain View, CA (3 days per week in office)
Salary: $280k - $315k annually

What you will do
- Lead comprehensive planning and forecasting, including long-range planning (LRP), annual operating planning (AOP), and rolling quarterly forecasts.
- Develop sophisticated reporting packages for executive leadership, investors, lenders, and the Board of Directors.
- Evaluate the financial viability of new product launches, M&A, and international expansion.
- Direct the strategy, calculation, and auditing of complex sales commission plans and automated payout workflows.
- Oversee data infrastructure and centralized BI dashboards to unify SaaS metrics across all business units.
- Partner with HR, Product, Engineering, and Sales to embed data analytics into everyday decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in an executive leadership role within high-growth SaaS or tech.
- Deep understanding of SaaS subscription models, revenue recognition, pipeline mechanics, and operational KPIs.
- Expert proficiency with Anaplan, NetSuite, Salesforce, Xactly, Excel, and Tableau.
- Must be based in or able to work 3 days per week in the Mountain View, CA office.
Nice to have
- MBA, Master’s degree in a business field, or CPA designation.
- Background in product finance or competitive intelligence within enterprise software.
- Deep understanding of cloud markets, content collaboration, data governance, and security sectors.
