Director of FP&A (SaaS)

Location: Lakewood, Colorado, United States; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: $165,000–$185,000 base annually, plus annual bonus

What you will do

• Own monthly, quarterly, annual, multi-year budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles.
• Build and maintain financial models covering SaaS metrics such as ARR, GDR, NDR, CAC, and LTV.
• Deliver financial reporting, KPI dashboards, board presentations, investor materials, and lender reporting.
• Run P&L cadences and partner with functional leaders on strategy, capital allocation, and growth investments.
• Analyze bookings, pipeline data, new opportunities, strategic initiatives, and unit economics.
• Scale FP&A tools, systems, and processes, including ownership of the FP&A technology stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate/public accounting, including experience in a high-growth organization.
• Strong understanding of SaaS and software business models, revenue recognition, GAAP, and consolidated financial statements.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, data aggregation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to turn complex financial data into clear strategic insights for executives, boards, and investors.
• Proactive, collaborative leadership and sound judgment under pressure.

Nice to have

• Software or technology experience and/or experience with a private-equity-backed company.
• Experience with international subsidiaries, foreign currency, or M&A.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, QuickBooks Online, Alteryx, and Tableau.
