What you will do
- Support Account Managers to retain and re-sign Mid-Market customers, primarily across networking and IP connectivity services.
- Build and progress a qualified sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and achievement of revenue targets.
- Identify value-add opportunities through service upgrades and the wider BT portfolio, including voice, mobile, and IT solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned opportunities, focusing on commercial viability and margin optimization.
- Collaborate with internal finance, pricing, and specialist teams to support deal development.
- Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline visibility using CRM and sales tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a B2B sales environment, specifically in a desk-based or inside sales role.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering against sales and/or retention targets.
- Strong commercial awareness, including pipeline management and forecasting skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across a large customer base.
- Must be based in or be able to commute to Birmingham or Manchester, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience in customer retention, renewals, or customer success roles.
- Exposure to telecoms, connectivity, networking, or IP-based solutions in a sales context.
- Understanding of Mid-Market or SME customer environments.
- Experience working within a matrix sales organization alongside Account Managers.
