What you will do

  • Supervise and coach a team of property claims adjusters, providing technical guidance and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Monitor claims handling activities to ensure compliance with company policies and client standards.
  • Review high-exposure or complex property claims and approve settlements within assigned authority limits.
  • Track operational metrics such as claim cycle time and productivity to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding claim performance and service delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and engineers for claim investigations and repairs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of property claims handling experience.
  • Adjuster licensing as required by jurisdiction.
  • Deep knowledge of property claims investigation, evaluation, and settlement practices.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Xactimate.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience handling commercial or large-loss property claims.
  • Industry designations such as AIC, CPCU, or equivalent.
