What you will do
- Manage a full caseload of collision, comprehensive, third-party property damage, and disputed liability claims.
- Investigate claims from report to resolution, evaluating vehicle damage and determining coverage.
- Negotiate repair and total-loss settlements directly with appraisers and repair facilities.
- Analyze claims exposure, set reserves, and drive negotiation strategy on complex files.
- Draft coverage letters and resolve disputed liability claims across multiple states, focusing on Florida.
- Mentor junior adjusters through file reviews and coaching on complex claims.
Requirements
- 3+ years of auto claims adjusting experience.
- Active adjuster license in good standing.
- Experience handling Florida auto claims, including Florida's insurance code and PIP statute.
- Experience investigating and resolving disputed liability claims and performing coverage analysis.
- Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the 40 listed eligible US states.
- Experience worg directly for an insurance carrier.
Nice to have
- Experience in additional states such as Texas, Georgia, Colorado, or Arizona.
- PIP handling experience.
- Familiarity with Excel, Snapsheet, and Slack.
