What you will do

• Manage daily safe, efficient, and legal operations at the terminal.
• Supervise and motivate a team of Yard Specialists and Operations Coordinators.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health, safety, and environmental policies (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT).
• Oversee inventory management and resolve product quality issues.
• Develop and manage the annual department budget and operating plan.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• Must be based in Tonawanda, NY
• 5-7 years of experience in operations, preferably in chemical distribution.
• Proven supervisory leadership and ability to motivate teams.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT).
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• HazMat or Hazwoper certification.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in emergency response leadership.
