Electrical Engineer III (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, serving the Philadelphia area; travel to client and project sites may be required.

What you will do

• Support and coordinate electrical engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams, taking the lead when appropriate.
• Deliver electrical designs across feasibility studies, conceptual and schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Prepare and manage bid, approval, and construction-issue electrical packages.
• Analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective, cost-conscious solutions.
• Review electrical engineering work, conduct peer reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Interact with clients, vendors, project field personnel, and attend project meetings and site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of industrial engineering design experience.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or a committed path to licensure is required.
• Experience designing power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting, fire alarm, security, grounding and bonding, hazardous-area, and specialist control systems.
• Experience with electrical narratives, user requirements, sequences of operation, device selection, and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit, plus advanced knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry practices.
• Strong communication skills, professional conduct, and the ability to manage complex project and operational tasks.

Nice to have

• Life sciences or GMP manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of short-circuit calculations, load-flow analysis, and coordination studies using SKM.
• Experience with commercial awareness and value engineering.
