TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Industrial and Critical Infrastructure): Generating awareness and demand for IP-based security solutions in the ICI sector with an accent on IT/OT convergence and strategic stakeholder relationships. Focus on developing total-solution concepts for high-value projects in Oil and Gas, Mining, and Energy.

Location: Must reside near Toronto/GTA, Calgary/Edmonton, Vancouver, or Montreal. Expect 70-80% travel.

Salary: $160K–$180K (Total Compensation)

What you will do

  • Develop tailored solution strategies for ICI sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, and Water Management.
  • Build long-term relationships with end users and stakeholders to drive operational ROI and safety.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with Axis Development Partners (ADP) and National Solution Integrators.
  • Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to drive technology standards and safety guidance.
  • Provide regional guidance on complex, large-scale ICI projects and procurement policies.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Critical Infrastructure, security manufacturing, or IT/OT consulting.
  • Must be based in Canada (specifically near Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or Montreal).
  • Proven track record in enterprise-level, long-cycle, high-value sales.
  • Deep knowledge of IT/OT convergence and IP-based enterprise security.
  • Strong ability to influence C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel 70-80% of the time.
