Mid-Enterprise Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Partnering with Account Executives to drive technical validation and business value for the NodeZero autonomous security platform with an accent on technical discovery and proof-of-value (PoV) delivery. Focus on translating complex security vulnerabilities into business impact and managing the technical sales cycle for mid-market and enterprise accounts.
Location: Remote (US), must be located in the Eastern Time Zone and local to the Tri-State area
Salary: $220k - $260k OTE

What you will do
- Partner with AEs to support discovery, solution positioning, and technical validation for mid-sized organizations.
- Lead technical qualification by analyzing customer infrastructure, security maturity, and risk priorities.
- Deliver outcome-driven demos and Proof-of-Value (PoV) engagements to demonstrate risk reduction.
- Translate technical findings into business value, focusing on exposure reduction and compliance.
- Own technical deal strategy, handling objections and competitive positioning throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide field feedback for the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
- Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone and local to the Tri-State area.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (threat landscape, vulnerability management, cloud, AD).
- Proven experience running structured PoVs and managing technical validation cycles.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both practitioners and executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
