What you will do

• Build and own core services for ingesting PSP settlement and transactional data at scale and translating it into general ledger and billing systems.
• Design infrastructure that transforms bespoke monetization deal terms into durable, auditable configurations.
• Iterate and build AI-first tools to enhance the quality and speed of interactions with finance data.
• Partner with product engineering teams to shape how transactional data is modeled and exposed at the source.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Data teams to maintain data quality and operational excellence in a SOX controlled environment.
• Create clear definitions and documentation for data sources and system ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production backend systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience processing transactional or financial data at scale, ideally within a SOX controlled environment.
• Ability to design reliable and auditable services and data models.
• Familiarity with the interface between streaming production data and data warehouse environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with payments infrastructure or marketplace payout platforms.
• Experience with finance systems vendors.
