Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $160,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Own platform initiatives end-to-end from design to maintenance.
• Drive systems design for integration infrastructure including queues, data pipelines, and async workflows.
• Lead projects and mentor junior/mid-level engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
• Identify and eliminate classes of recurring technical problems.
• Set technical direction in ambiguous problem spaces.
• Collaborate with integration and adjacent teams to meet consumer needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong systems design skills with experience handling concurrency and failure modes.
• Experience with backend platform/infrastructure (services, queues, data pipelines).
• Demonstrated autonomous project leadership on multi-quarter initiatives.
• AI-forward mindset with a willingness to drive AI-related projects.
• Computer Science degree or comparable experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building against third-party APIs and managing auth flows.
• Browser automation experience (Playwright, Selenium, CDP).
• Expertise in Python.
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments.
