What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of platform integration projects with utility clients and vendors from requirements discovery to production launch.
• Champion the value of platform APIs and integration protocols like OpenADR to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, API documentation, and testing procedures to ensure seamless integration processes.
• Develop and maintain repeatable playbooks for system integrations including Customer Information Systems and Grid DERMS.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Solutions Engineering to keep integration projects on track.
• Facilitate communication between cross-functional counterparts to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
• Strong experience in demand response, API integrations, and communication protocols like IEEE 2030.5 or OpenADR.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues to external customers and partners.
• Experience with REST API architecture, status codes, and authentication.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with cloud-based SaaS products.

Nice to have

• 5-7 years of experience in technical program management or related roles.
• Background in the energy industry, specifically demand side or DER management.
• Familiarity with utility systems such as ADMS, DERMS, or SCADA.
• Understanding of residential distributed energy resources like smart thermostats, batteries, and EVs.
