What you will do

• Develop EH brake and brake-by-wire control algorithms, including diagnostics, fault handling, and system state management.
• Implement scalable brake control architectures supporting multiple machine platforms.
• Create controls for advanced features such as ABS, traction control, hill start, and collision mitigation.
• Collaborate with hydraulic, electrical, and hardware teams on valve selection, redundancy, and ECM allocation.
• Support functional safety activities including hazard analysis and safety goal definition per ISO standards.
• Perform system integration, machine validation, and technical issue resolution.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
• Experience with embedded control systems for mobile equipment or automotive applications.
• Proficiency in Matlab, Simulink, and AUTOSAR toolsets.
• Knowledge of embedded C/C++ development.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 19014, ISO 13849, or ISO 26262.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mossville, IL, five days per week.
