TL;DR
HR Business Partner (SaaS): Driving HR initiatives and strategic partnership to support a rapidly growing team with an accent on talent management, employee relations, and organizational development. Focus on aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive culture in a high-growth startup environment.
Location: Must be based in the U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, and Wyoming). Hybrid work schedules available in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, and Raleigh.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 base + bonus

What you will do
- Serve as a strategic advisor to managers on workforce planning, team structure, and performance management.
- Handle employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution while ensuring policy compliance.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and career development.
- Analyze HR data and trends to provide actionable insights to business leadership.
- Update and enforce HR policies to maintain a fair and compliant workplace.
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits to support talent attraction and retention.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of HR experience, preferably in a business partner role within a high-growth startup.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance across multiple states.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (HiBoB, Deel) and performance management tools (Lattice).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with high integrity.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and reside in an eligible state.
Nice to have
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP).
- Experience with HR analytics and reporting.
