Senior Partner Solutions Engineer (Public Sector)

Location: Remote, preferably based in the DMV area (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia) or Eastern Time Zone as the role requires regular in-person meetings in those regions.

Salary: $225k–$245k OTE

What you will do

• Develop deep knowledge of Tines automation to solve complex security and IT challenges.
• Create and deliver compelling presentations and demos for key alliance partners to win sales.
• Build and execute enablement programs to help partners articulate Tines' value and approach to automation.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify key use cases and partner-developed solutions on the platform.
• Provide market feedback to the product organization to influence the roadmap and strategy.
• Mentor other Solutions Engineers and represent Tines at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or technology delivery at a SaaS company with a focus on partner engagement.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
• Strong technical background with APIs and experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Industry experience in Security, IT, and specifically the Public Sector.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Proven track record of uncovering customer needs and delivering winning technical evaluations.
