Technical Program Manager (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Technical Program Manager (Gamedev): Coordinating the delivery of software development tools for PlayStation platforms with an accent on software development lifecycle management, resource coordination, and roadmap construction. Location: Hybrid (Bristol, Dublin, or London). Frequent in-office time is expected.

What you will do

• Coordinate software development, testing, and release activities for the PlayStation developer platform.
• Create project plans and align stakeholders on objectives, milestones, and quality expectations.
• Collaborate closely with QA colleagues to coordinate product testing activities.
• Manage roadmaps, highlight dependencies, and report progress to senior executives.
• Balance internal process improvement initiatives with external delivery commitments.
• Contribute to the wider TPM organization by sharing and developing best practices and common frameworks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience managing complex software projects with globally distributed teams.
• Proven track record of delivering multiple projects in parallel and on schedule.
• Strong software engineering background, ideally with practical hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in Agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Must be based in or able to work from Bristol, Dublin, or London.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI or agentic tooling.
• Experience working on large developer platforms.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience collaborating with Japanese and US teams and cultures.
• Project management qualification (PMI, APM or equivalent).
