What you will do

• Build and own the procurement and spend-management function from the ground up.
• Lead commercial negotiations for strategic spend, particularly consumption-based cloud and AI commitments.
• Manage the full vendor portfolio, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
• Reduce SaaS sprawl by tracking adoption and eliminating overlapping or underused tools.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution and obligation tracking.
• Partner with FP&A to manage vendor spend against OpEx budgets and automate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience building or rebuilding a procurement function within a fast-scaling SaaS or tech company.
• Deep expertise in sourcing, category strategy, and independent commercial negotiation.
• Strong operator mindset with the ability to turn manual workflows into scalable, automated processes.
• AI-native approach to work, with a drive to use automation to eliminate repetitive tasks.
• Existing right to work in the target country (unless relocating to Germany via sponsorship).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience building workflows specifically within the hirify.global platform.
• Experience supporting audit, SOX, or GoBD compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with third-party risk assessments, DPAs, and privacy reviews.
• Experience working in remote-first, international scale-up environments.
