What you will do
- Build and own the procurement and spend-management function from the ground up.
- Lead commercial negotiations for strategic spend, particularly consumption-based cloud and AI commitments.
- Manage the full vendor portfolio, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Reduce SaaS sprawl by tracking adoption and eliminating overlapping or underused tools.
- Oversee the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution and obligation tracking.
- Partner with FP&A to manage vendor spend against OpEx budgets and automate financial reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience building or rebuilding a procurement function within a fast-scaling SaaS or tech company.
- Deep expertise in sourcing, category strategy, and independent commercial negotiation.
- Strong operator mindset with the ability to turn manual workflows into scalable, automated processes.
- AI-native approach to work, with a drive to use automation to eliminate repetitive tasks.
- Existing right to work in the target country (unless relocating to Germany via sponsorship).
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience building workflows specifically within the platform.
- Experience supporting audit, SOX, or GoBD compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with third-party risk assessments, DPAs, and privacy reviews.
- Experience working in remote-first, international scale-up environments.
