What you will do

• Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency real-time services.
• Own, operate, and maintain services in a distributed production environment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
• Drive architectural decisions and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Mentor team members and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience with JVM-based technologies in large-scale distributed environments.
• Must be based in Ireland.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful services, API design, and event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS).
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog).
• Demonstrated proficiency with AI coding assistants (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) and ability to evaluate AI-generated code.

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience working with SIP protocol.
• Knowledge and experience working with Stir/Shaken protocol.
• Proven ability to use AI to deliver value efficiently.
