TL;DR
Engineering Lead (Fullstack/Fintech): Leading the delivery of client connectivity products and services with an accent on engineering excellence, reliability, and technical strategy. Focus on driving CI/CD maturity, mentoring development pods, and managing end-to-end delivery of high-availability financial services.
Location: On-site in Toronto, Canada. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; no immigration sponsorship provided.

What you will do
- Own end-to-end delivery and outcomes for client connectivity products and services.
- Define and communicate the technology strategy, balancing new features with technical debt remediation.
- Lead and improve development pods, focusing on increased release cadence and reduced production incidents.
- Drive engineering excellence through automation, strong testing discipline, and CI/CD maturity.
- Build system reliability, observability, and recoverability into the design process.
- Manage stakeholders, prioritize work, and handle escalations with Product and Tech owners.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong full-stack engineering and DevOps experience, including Continuous Delivery practices.
- Hands-on coding ability in at least two languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Clojure, Python).
- Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Proven technical leadership in coaching teams and raising engineering standards.
- Solid understanding of Unix environments and designing/consuming HTTP APIs (REST).
Nice to have
- Experience with languages such as Elm, Julia, Haskell, or Rust.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and regulatory requirements regarding data privacy and residency.
