Salary: $250,000 – $290,000 base + pre-IPO equity

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end data platform architecture from source systems to serving, managing the stack (Snowflake, Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Hex).
• Design the migration path for order data from a legacy monolith to a new source of truth using event consumption and CDC.
• Establish modeling rigor and a single semantic layer to ensure consistent definitions for core metrics like revenue and retention.
• Build and maintain the serving infrastructure required for restaurant ML to run safely and reproducibly.
• Manage warehouse performance and costs as a primary engineering metric.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform, or analytics engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience leading and building teams.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Deep hands-on experience with a modern data stack (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift) and dbt.
• Strong proficiency in production-quality Python and SQL.
• Experience with orchestration (Airflow, Dagster) and streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark, Flink).
