What you will do
- Manage priority workflows and information flows for the Global Director to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Coordinate high-level meetings, briefing materials, and internal communications across the Division.
- Oversee knowledge management systems to track donor engagement, partnership priorities, and divisional actions.
- Draft substantive background notes, talking points, and executive materials for senior leadership.
- Facilitate cross-divisional alignment on priority initiatives and monitor implementation of action points.
- Identify and synthesize emerging issues, risks, and opportunities requiring leadership attention.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in external relations, public affairs, partnership management, or executive coordination.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure and coordinate across multicultural teams.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and judgement skills with political sensitivity.
- Proficiency in office software, collaboration platforms, and knowledge-management tools, including AI tools.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
- Prior experience in an executive office or field-level development/humanitarian contexts.
