TL;DR

Strategic Analyst - Collections Lead (Collections/Revenue Analytics): Own complex B2B collections cases end-to-end while defining scalable collections tactics and strategies for customer segments at scale, with an accent on bad debt expense improvement and ARR retention. Focus on designing data-driven collections workflows, leading executive escalations, and improving third-party collections operations to increase recovery rates and cycle-time performance.

Location: Hybrid — regular in-office presence required at the Minneapolis office (US).

Salary: $90,200.00 - $139,800.00 per year

What you will do

  • Analyze complex accounts and customer behavior to drive collections and revenue retention.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-risk, complex accounts end-to-end, including outreach, negotiating payment plans and settlements, and driving resolution.
  • Lead high-visibility escalations by researching issues, preparing executive briefings, and recommending risk-aware resolution paths.
  • Design and improve scalable collections strategies using collections data, aging buckets, and root-cause analysis; implement QA on collections reporting.
  • Develop and run third-party collections strategy and operations (agency evaluation, placement policies, compliance SOPs, performance reviews, workflow, and reporting).
  • Build onboarding and training programs for new hires, mentor team members, and launch multi-channel outreach programs with optimized tone, sequencing, and escalation triggers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in collections, accounts receivable, finance, or revenue operations; 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity.
  • Proven track record improving collections performance through measurement, analysis, strategy design, process improvement, and QA in a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience managing third-party agencies or vendor management.
  • Ability to manage executive-level escalations and negotiate complex resolutions with C-level/SVP-level contacts.
  • Strong financial acumen and data analysis/reporting skills; ability to synthesize large datasets and communicate to an executive audience.
  • Proficiency with CRM, ERP, AI, collections platforms, and advanced reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, SQL).

Nice to have

  • Deep understanding of B2B SaaS revenue models and collections practices, including ARR retention and customer lifecycle management.
  • Experience with AI workflow design, automation tooling, or operational technology adoption.
  • Advanced ERP and reporting expertise (e.g., PowerBI and Salesforce report design).
  • Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma) and experience with curriculum development/mentoring.
