Data Scientist (Machine Learning)

Location: Hybrid in Richardson, TX or Alpharetta, GA; remote options available for non-local candidates. Additional listed locations include Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; and Dallas, TX.

Salary: $93,300–$155,200 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and develop statistical models and analytical solutions for hirify.global Auto.
• Update existing solutions and automate analytical processes for recurring organizational needs.
• Work with structured datasets from relational databases, delimited files, data frames, and other formats.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and technical results to project teams and broad audiences.
• Document modeling assumptions, methodology, code, and analytical results.
• Participate in model reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions with data science peers.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another STEM field and 2–4 years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, and visualization libraries.
• Proficiency writing and interpreting SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts, including training, validation, performance evaluation, and interpretation.
• Experience with techniques such as generalized linear models, regularized regression, tree-based models, ensemble methods, clustering, or neural networks.

Nice to have

• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another STEM field.
• Experience with time series modeling, ARIMA, forecasting, or trend analysis.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, pricing, or risk modeling.
