TL;DR
Associate Data Scientist (AI) (Python/SQL/Spark): Building and operationalizing large-scale data models and analytics for Gartner’s research and technology insights business with an accent on machine learning, NLP, statistical modeling, and MLOps. Focus on data wrangling, feature engineering, model validation, production implementation, and communicating analytical results to business stakeholders.
Location: Irving, TX; hybrid work environment. U.S. work authorization is required.
Salary: $90,000–$118,000 USD annually, plus an annual bonus or role-based incentive plan.

What you will do
- Execute large-scale data modeling projects that improve operational efficiency and customer value.
- Conduct the full analytics lifecycle, including data wrangling, cleaning, analysis, feature engineering, model selection, validation, operationalization, implementation, and documentation.
- Develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models using statistical modeling, machine learning, AI, generative AI, and NLP.
- Translate strategic business initiatives into actionable analytics projects and propose new data-driven solutions.
- Present technical solutions and analytical results to business stakeholders.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT, and project management on analytics solution delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- Business-environment experience with data modeling and statistical analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical principles and experience with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models.
- Experience with NLP, churn analysis, profiling, recommendation systems, and multiple modeling techniques.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and Spark; basic skills in Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with MLOps and implementing models or algorithms in production systems, plus strong technical and business communication skills.
