TL;DR

Salary: £71,400 - £90,000 + Incentive Awards

What you will do

  • Provide practical, proportionate data protection advice, oversight, and challenge across the organization.
  • Review DPIAs, provide DPO opinions, and assess data breaches to support regulatory reporting.
  • Manage relationships with regulators and oversee data subject rights and contact point processes.
  • Lead projects within the Global DPO Office to build scalable processes and governance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement through data, automation, and AI tools.
  • Deputise for the Data Protection Officer as required to gain high-level experience.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK.
  • Deep knowledge of UK GDPR, PECR, and ICO expectations.
  • Relevant professional qualification, such as IAPP or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with DPIAs, data breaches, privacy notices, and regulator-facing activity.
  • Proven ability to provide second-line oversight and build trusted internal relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and a methodical approach to solving ambiguous problems.
