Salary: $18.00–$20.00 hourly

What you will do
- Receive, inspect, verify, document, and distribute incoming laboratory supplies, equipment, chemicals, biological materials, and research specimens.
- Verify packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation; report discrepancies or damages.
- Record receipts in inventory/procurement systems, notify end users, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Store materials correctly (ambient, refrigerated, frozen, hazardous, flammable, and controlled-access) and perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintain clean receiving/storage/supply areas using 5S and Lean principles.
- Support internal shipments and facility logistics; assist with SOP updates and support regulatory inspections and audits.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse, laboratory receiving, inventory management, logistics, or material handling.
- Knowledge of inventory control and documentation practices; ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic inventory systems.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds; frequent exposure to fumes and chemical hazards; exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced research environment and maintain confidentiality.
