Materials Specialist

Location: Must be based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States

Starting pay: $18.50/hour (plus $2.00 shift differential for night shifts)

What you will do

• Oversee daily Material Stores and Line Material operations, including shipping, receiving, and stocking.
• Perform data entry in the inventory system to track supplies, tools, and aircraft parts.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Operations Control to support Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Conduct physical inventory audits, inspections, and reconciliations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare Hazmat shipments in accordance with IATA regulations.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Planning for fleet modification kits.

Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry or inventory management.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to operate forklifts and ground service equipment.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and obtain a SIDA badge.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move medium to heavy weights of 50 pounds or more.

Nice to have

• 4-year degree in Business, Aerospace, or relevant field.
• Experience with TRAX (M&E) inventory systems.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment.
