What you will do

• Act as the primary finance business partner for Central Publishing and Global ELT teams.
• Own financial elements of the Investment in Content (IIC) process, including P&L structure and metrics.
• Lead forecasting and reporting cycles for indirect costs and central functions.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary to ensure budget compliance and cost control.
• Support commercial evaluations, pricing decisions, and new business model development.
• Maintain and improve financial systems, acting as a super user for SAP S4 and Anaplan.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification finance experience in a complex organization.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with experience in investment appraisal.
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Must be based in London and able to work in a hybrid model.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial planning tools like Anaplan and SAP S4.
• Background in publishing, media, or content-driven industries.
• Exposure to M&A or investment processes.
