What you will do

• Coordinate with ME/EE/SE/SYS stakeholders to clarify product requirements and dependencies.
• Participate in design concept identification and perform basic mechanical and thermal dimensioning and concept calculations.
• Build up, optimize, coordinate, and maintain the overall product package.
• Design industrializable mechanical parts and fixtures with a focus on injection molding.
• Run in-house rapid prototyping (3D printing) to derisk design decisions early.
• Create releasable part and product drawings and support development/product documentation and change request collection.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical design experience (including first job or student initiatives like Formula Student).
• Proficiency in Catia v5.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, machining, casting, stamping).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work from the Munich, Germany office.
