What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a team of prototyping technicians in the rapid development of next-generation systems.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee prototype builds to ensure alignment with engineering goals and timelines.
• Act as the primary interface between engineering, testing, and production teams.
• Ensure high-quality assembly, integration, and validation of prototypes from early concepts to functional demonstrators.
• Establish and improve prototyping workflows, tools, and best practices.
• Mentor team members and foster a strong ownership mindset.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Gilching, Germany.
• Strong hands-on experience in prototyping, system integration, or test environments, ideally in aerospace or robotics.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical teams in fast-paced development settings.
• Solid understanding of multidisciplinary systems including mechanical, electrical, and basic software integration.
• Experience with agile development processes and iterative prototyping cycles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to bridge gaps between engineers and technicians.
