What you will do

  • Design, develop, and validate electrical systems and subsystems for the C-UAS product line.
  • Manage schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and electrical architecture documentation.
  • Support hardware integration, including SBCs, flight controllers, radio links, and high-power propulsion systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to resolve cross-discipline design conflicts.
  • Define and execute electrical test plans, ensuring compliance with EMC/EMI standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure production quality and component availability.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware/electrical engineering within defence, aerospace, or high-reliability sectors.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design tools, specifically Altium.
  • Solid understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and mixed-signal design.
  • Familiarity with EMC standards and design-for-manufacture principles.
  • English proficiency required for all technical documentation and communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with UAS, C-UAS, EW, or RF-heavy systems.
  • Knowledge of STANAG or MIL-SPEC design requirements.
  • Familiarity with DO-254 or similar airborne hardware assurance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting field trials in a defence startup or SME environment.
