hirify.global supports relocation and hiring for a Dutch superyacht industry organization that designs, engineers, and builds custom-made luxury yachts.

What you will do

• Develop and check technical ship design and engineering solutions for luxury yachts.
• Work on hull design, general arrangements, layouts, and technical integration.
• Support stability, weight control, structural design, and construction-related calculations.
• Prepare, review, and improve technical drawings, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, production, suppliers, and classification societies to manage technical risks and ensure compliance.
• Support production during construction by resolving technical questions and ensuring quality, safety, and classification requirements are met.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Shipbuilding, or a related field.
• Experience in shipbuilding, yacht building, marine engineering, offshore, naval design, or complex technical engineering.
• Strong understanding of ship design and construction principles, including technical integration.
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, Maxsurf, NAPA, ShipConstructor, or Cadmatic.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• English: Good communication skills in English; Dutch is not required (willingness to learn Dutch over time is a plus).
