Salary: €4,246 – €6,469 gross per month

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate the Naval basic engineering discipline across various ongoing projects.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of basic engineers, reviewing deliverables and managing schedules.
• Execute basic engineering tasks, including construction calculations, weight and stability checks, and technical documentation.
• Manage the classification process to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Design & Estimation, Project Management, Procurement, and Production throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development of new products and the optimization of operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in basic engineering.
• Proven expertise in construction calculations.
• Strong leadership skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Kinderdijk, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of shipbuilding classification rules.
• Familiarity with CAD applications.
