Procurement Buyer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end supply chain and optimise supplier ordering and reordering.
• Work with stakeholders to determine product and service requirements.
• Negotiate supplier quality, pricing, delivery times, and long-term relationships.
• Maintain supplier records and manage supplier performance and non-compliance.
• Support commercial forecasting and align findings with supply chain management.
• Research sector requirements, opportunities, trends, and developments while considering environmental impact and sustainability targets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a buying or supply chain function, or relevant training.
• Commercial education or business accreditation in business, logistics, supply chain management, engineering, economics, applied science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for figures.
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in the industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated approach and willingness to develop within the role.
