What you will do
- Develop and maintain firmware for GO telematics devices using C, C++, and Rust.
- Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing in real and simulated vehicle environments.
- Debug firmware issues and identify opportunities for code improvement.
- Analyze device health and functionality using SQL queries and Python scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define project architecture and constraints.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all firmware modules.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from Madrid, Spain.
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems design with RTOS and Linux.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in hands-on troubleshooting on embedded targets and reading schematics.
- Solid understanding of SQL and cryptographic modules.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Nice to have
- Experience programming in Rust.
- Proficiency with scripting languages like bash, Python, or TCL.
