Junior Embedded Systems Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area.

What you will do

• Develop and test embedded software functions in C and C++.
• Develop and integrate embedded software and hardware functions for defence aerospace programmes.
• Work with FPGA-based systems and target hardware.
• Implement real-time functions and state machines.
• Contribute to integration, testing, verification, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Interest in embedded systems, C/C++ programming, and aerospace technology.
• Interest in real-time systems, synchronisation, and verification processes.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience with navigation systems, GNSS, inertial sensors, and sensor fusion.
• Knowledge of FPGA, embedded Linux, RTOS, simulation, or SIL/HIL environments.
