Technical Product Lead (Aerospace)

Location: Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model. Includes up to 8 weeks per year of teleworking outside the usual geographical area. A relocation package is available for candidates from other countries.

What you will do

• Lead the development and productisation of embedded solutions for Defence aerospace programmes.
• Define technical architectures, requirements, and interfaces for product-ready systems.
• Coordinate hardware, FPGA, embedded software, and systems engineering teams.
• Manage solution development, integration, and verification activities.
• Contribute to real-time software, state machines, and timing-related functions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during integration and testing.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the aerospace or avionics sector.
• Expertise in embedded systems and aerospace product development.
• Strong knowledge of real-time software and hands-on experience with C/C++, FPGA, and hardware/software integration.
• Strong technical leadership and coordination skills.
• Experience with navigation systems, including GNSS, inertial, or hybrid navigation, is valued.
• Knowledge of avionics architectures, RTOS, embedded Linux, hypervisors, FPGA design, SIL/HIL, simulation, and verification processes is valued.
