Military Derivatives Stream-aligned Software Engineer (C++)

Location: Getafe Area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working is available when possible.

What you will do

• Design, write, and maintain modern C++ software for Linux platforms.
• Implement data-centric communication interfaces and network architectures with DDS middleware.
• Develop and optimize responsive graphical interfaces using Qt, including Qt Quick, QML, or Widgets.
• Deliver customer-facing features end to end using Trunk Based Development and continuous value-stream models.
• Implement unit, integration, and regression tests using Test Driven Development.
• Create software architecture documentation, API contracts, and DDS data models.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
• At least 5 years of software-development experience, specifically with high-performance applications.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++, including STL and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Linux environments, CMake, and Git.
• Advanced English is required.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, team spirit, and the ability to work in complex, international, and multicultural environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Qt frameworks and Qt Quick, QML, or Widgets.
• Experience with DDS and testing frameworks such as GoogleTest or Catch2.
