What you will do

• Act as Single Threaded Leader (STL) for Client Intelligence & Data, driving end-to-end delivery from strategy to production.
• Define agentic strategy for moving from manually assembled reports to an autonomous, AI-driven insights engine for merchants and operators.
• Maintain a “Stop the Line” stability floor with high automated QA across KPI computation and report generation to protect data accuracy and reliability.
• Lead a high-ownership cross-functional domain pod, partnering with Staff Engineers and the CTO Office to remove silos.
• Operationalize a “You Build It, You Run It” culture, ensuring multi-tenancy, elastic scaling, and automated observability across analytics pipelines.
• Use RICE to prioritize evidence-based roadmap items for new merchant KPIs and operator reporting needs.

Requirements

• Deep technical foundation in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and event-driven platforms (including experience with cloud-native/serverless and modern API protocols like gRPC/REST).
• Platform-as-a-Product experience building foundational capabilities or complex distributed systems, ideally involving analytics pipelines, BI tooling, or merchant-facing dashboards.
• Proven execution mastery: driving delivery velocity, unblocking engineering teams, managing dependencies across multiple domains, and improving DORA metrics.
• Strong product sense with preference for clean, modular architecture over monolithic shortcuts.
• Ability to articulate technical trade-offs (e.g., tech debt vs. feature velocity) to executive stakeholders and translate growth goals into technical requirements.
