What you will do

• Execute photomask (reticle) release activities to support semiconductor tape-out schedules and production milestones.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Python-based automation tools for chip assembly and mask release workflows.
• Prepare, review, and validate reticle orders before submission to external manufacturing partners.
• Review semiconductor layouts and MEBES data to ensure quality, manufacturability, and compliance.
• Troubleshoot layout, automation, and infrastructure issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation and process records throughout the tape-out activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor design, mask release, tape-out operations, or design automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming and strong knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with semiconductor EDA tools such as Synopsys ICVWB or Cadence Virtuoso.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor physical layouts, design rules, and fabrication processes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Nice to have

• Experience with lithography, photomask manufacturing processes, OPC, or reticle frame building.
• Experience with MEBES data.
