What you will do

• Define performance, power, and interface requirements for CCAs and document them in traceable specifications.
• Create schematic capture, PCB layout, and bill of materials (BOM) using Altium or Cadence.
• Conduct simulation, signal integrity, and power analysis studies to validate design choices.
• Build and test prototype hardware in the lab, troubleshooting and iterating designs to meet V&V milestones.
• Coordinate with mechanical and systems teams to ensure seamless integration with launcher subsystems.
• Support environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, radiation) and analyze results.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in circuit design engineering.
• Experience with circuit card design for digital, power, analog, or FPGA-based processor boards.
• Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition, Cadence PSpice, and Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx.
• Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL at least 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with military standards MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-704.
• Knowledge of Xilinx/AMD FPGA families (UltraScale, Versal) and MATLAB.
• Familiarity with MOSA and WOSA architectures.
• Experience with rigid-flex circuit card design and CAMEO tools.
